Of the total exported in this period, 34 million liters correspond to wine with controlled designation of origin, which represents an increase of 47 percent in volume. The average price of this category reached €2.9 / liter, that is a decrease of 5.8 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
Regarding bulk wine, in April 2024, 31 million liters were exported in Chile for a total amount of €20 million, which corresponds to an increase of 49 percent in volume and 8.4 percent in value compared to March of 2023. Exports of wines in containers between 2 and 10 liters also presented a significant increase in volume and value compared to the month of April 2023.
Finally, the period January-April 2024, an increase in exports of 18.9 percent in volume and 10.7 percent in value is observed compared to 2023.
