With the acquisition of Vinicola Antonio Divella, Mack & Schühle Italia expands its strategic foundation for the production and global distribution of Italian wines and sparkling wines. Production and storage capacities, as well as their efficiency, will be significantly increased, according to the announcement. Thanks to this acquisition, Mack & Schühle Italia gains access to additional qualified professionals, modern facilities, and production plants with a storage capacity of around 250,000 hl.
“For Mack & Schühle Italia, acquiring Vinicola Antonio Divella means a vertical integration of the value chain. In the future, we will process and vinify large quantities of grapes here. We are strengthening our connection to the region and its agricultural supply chains. Thanks to Vinicola Antonio Divella, which has been rooted in Apulia since 1968, we can proudly promote the region’s top oenological products and expand our presence in the area,” explains Fedele Angelillo, CEO of Mack & Schühle Italia.
“The facilities in Santeramo in Colle will also enable the development of important synergies with our plant in Laterza (TA), which is currently being modernized and expanded. Management will remain in the hands of the Divella family. Mid-term planning foresees significant growth in both revenue and production from 2026 onwards.”
“We are delighted to become part of the Mack & Schühle Group,” says Giuseppe Vito Divella, Managing Director of Vinicola Antonio Divella. “This partnership allows us to contribute our experience and expertise and continue growing with Mack & Schühle Italia. An important step for the sustainability and continuity of our company.”
