Petra Westphal has had a decisive influence on the global development and strategic orientation of the drinktec brand for around 30 years during her career, which she started at Messe München and which led her to the position of Project Group Leader/Cluster Director. Her enormous commitment and comprehensive market knowledge in the world of the beverage and liquid food industry have earned her great recognition in the industry. She was known as “Miss drinktec” to many business partners worldwide. The position of the drinktec marketplaces in India and China is also largely due to her initiative.
Most recently, she was responsible for the “People & Culture” division and the implementation of a modern organizational structure during the establishment of the joint venture between Messe München and NürnbergMesse to bundle the trade fair offerings for the beverage and liquid food industry. Petra Westphal also paved the way for international development with successful international contract negotiations for the integration of drinktec into the EATS product range and the rebranding of drinktec India. The development of new fields of activity for Yontex rounded off her achievements in the area of strategy.

The wealth of personal and professional experience I have gained over the last 30 years or so in the beverage and liquid food industry has inspired me time and again and filled me with gratitude.
