The South American beverage market is projected to have an annual growth potential of 8.75% between 2025 and 2030, as beverage trends related to health benefits are driving consumer demand, thanks also to the excellent taste of tropical fruits.
A new survey by Arla Foods Ingredients, which included 4,000 consumers in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Colombia, found that excellent taste, naturalness, and high protein content were key factors. When asked which products they would like to have more protein, 31% of the total—and 40% in Brazil—mentioned juices.
