Study trip "Brauer on Tour" heads to Slovenia in October 2025

The professional study trip “Brauer on Tour” will head to Slovenia in 2025.

From 8th till 10th October, the country’s beer culture will take center stage: traditional breweries, the work of the Slovenian Hop Research Institute, and the dynamic craft beer scene will be explored during the three-day trip.

The event aims to give professionals from the brewing and beverage industry insights into Slovenia’s brewing landscape and to foster international exchange.

As part of “Brauer on Tour”, participants will have the opportunity in October 2025 to experience Slovenia’s brewing sector up close.
The focus will be on technical exchange on topics such as hop cultivation, raw material characteristics, and current developments in the country’s beer culture.

The trip combines technical discussions and guided tours at breweries and institutions with insights into regional brewing traditions.
In addition, the program offers opportunities for networking within the group and for making new contacts with Slovenian colleagues.

“Brauer on Tour” is organized twice a year with changing destinations in Germany and abroad as part of the SachonAkademie program.
Each trip highlights different aspects of the international brewing world and is aimed at experienced professionals who wish to broaden their knowledge and gain new perspectives.
