In Argentina, e-commerce represents 18% of brands in this channel, with the wine industry accounting for only 1.6%. This represents a 15% increase compared to the previous year.
The specific e-commerce indicators for the wine industry reflected in this study are based on responses from 35 wineries regarding their online activity throughout 2024. This information is supplemented by data collected from the main online wine shops and the leading marketplaces for the wine and sparkling wine categories.
In total, the study states that 126,500 online purchase orders were placed, a result that marks a 54% increase in volume compared to 2023, while in terms of quantity, 238,000 cases of six bottles were sold, totaling 1,070,000 liters of wine.
