Chile: CCU posts strong first quarter 2025 results

Chilean beverage company CCU reported solid financial results for the first quarter of 2025, with EBITDA rising 6% and net income increasing 10.7% year-over-year, despite a volatile operating environment.

In its Chilean operations, revenue grew by 2.8%, driven by a 4.8% average price increase, although volumes declined by 1.9%.

In its international segment, covering Argentina and Paraguay, organic sales revenue rose 6.3% as price hikes offset a 1.2% dip in volume. In Argentina, volumes held steady, showing signs of continued recovery, while volumes declined in Uruguay and Paraguay by 1% and 1.5% respectively. In Bolivia, volume growth was recorded in the single digits.
