Chile: Wine Exports Increase

According to the SAG National Registry of Alcoholic Beverages, total wine exports reached 45.6 million liters in February 2026, valued at €80 million. This represents a 9.6% increase in volume and a 21% increase in value compared to the same month in 2025.

Of the total exported, 24 million liters corresponded to wine with a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), valued at €63 million. This represents a 21% increase in volume and a 26.4% increase in value compared to the same month of the previous year. The main destination countries are Brazil, Japan, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

As for bulk wine, 18.4 million liters were exported, registering a 0.6% increase in volume and an 11.3% increase in value compared to February 2025. The main destination countries are the United Kingdom, Spain, the United States, and Denmark. Sparkling wines decreased by 23% in volume and 26% in value this month. In this case, the main destination was Japan, followed by Colombia and South Korea.

In February 2026, exports of pisco and aguardiente reached 5,800 liters, representing a decrease of 91% in volume and 84.1% in value compared to February 2025, and a decrease of 90% in volume and 87% in value compared to January 2026. The main export destinations during this period were the Czech Republic, the United States, China, and Germany, among others.
