According to the liquor company's manager, during the accountability report, as of December 10, more than 47 million units had already been sold, allowing them to project an unprecedented year-end volume. During his presentation, the manager explained that Aguardiente Amarillo de Manzanares consolidated its position as the company's best-selling brand nationwide, registering more than 22 million units sold during 2025. These figures are complemented by the performance of Ron Viejo de Caldas and the sustained growth of Aguardiente Cristal, which also showed an increase in its market share during the year.
According to management, one of the factors that contributed to the growth was the opening of the domestic market for aguardiente, which allowed the company to enter new market segments within the country.
On the international front, Industria Licorera de Caldas reported a significant increase in its exports. “As of December 10, 2,200,000 units have been sold in international markets such as the United States, Spain, and other Latin American countries,” the manager explained in a statement.
This growth is remarkable when compared to previous years, when the company exported 410,000 units in 2020 and around one million in 2023.
