Markus Rustler, Managing Director of Theegarten-Pactec GmbH & Co. KG, was elected Chairman of the Association. Klaus Schröter of Schröter Technologie GmbH & Co. KG was confirmed as Deputy Chairman. Rustler succeeds Christian Traumann of MULTIVAC Sepp Hagenmüller SE & Co. KG, who will retire at the end of the year after many years of service to the Association.
The leadership teams of the Association’s six specialist divisions were also elected or confirmed. Among the newly elected division chairmen are Markus Rustler for Packaging Machinery and Nicolas Sollich for Confectionery Machinery, while several incumbent board members were re-elected.
Johannes Schmid-Wiedersheim, Managing Director of the Association, thanked the newly elected board members for their commitment and expressed his appreciation for the future cooperation. Outgoing Managing Director Richard Clemens also paid tribute to Christian Traumann’s longstanding contribution, highlighting his significant role in shaping the Association over many years as Chairman.
