Located near Dublin, Embankment Plastics was founded in 1977 and has remained a private business to date. Their primary business has been in the dairy, food and technical closures. With an established skills base and a positive culture, Embankment Plastics represents a suitable manufacturing base for Bericap to continue developing its business in Ireland, which has been growing in recent years.
The aim is to combine the Bericap product portfolio of plastic and aluminium closure solutions for the beverage, food, liquor and chemical industries with current and new local opportunities and further develop the site into a Bericap facility serving local markets.
The future Bericap Ireland will become a subsidiary of Bericap UK to enable the use of shared resources while maintaining local control. In the short term, it will continue to trade as Embankment Plastics.
