In the latest evaluation, the company achieved a score of 81 out of 100, up from 76 in the previous year. This result places Guala Closures in the 97th percentile of all companies assessed by EcoVadis in the past 12 months and within the top 3% globally.
EcoVadis assesses companies’ sustainability performance across four areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The Gold rating is awarded to companies that meet high standards across these criteria.
According to the assessment, the 2025 result reflects continued progress in Guala Closures’ sustainability programme. In particular, EcoVadis noted advancements in environmental performance, including increased use of renewable energy and a more structured approach to responsible energy sourcing across operations.
Improvements were also recognised in the area of Labor & Human Rights, where the company has strengthened policies, procedures and certifications aimed at supporting safe, inclusive and responsible working conditions throughout its global operations.
Guala Closures stated that sustainability remains an integral part of its corporate strategy and is embedded in its business model, supporting long-term value creation for customers, partners, employees and local communities.
