At the event, the company received three distinctions: Silver in the Green Apple Award for Waste Management, Silver in the Green Apple Environment Award, and Gold in the Green Apple Award for Plastic Reduction. The Gold award acknowledged the Technoplat PW paper-wrapping solution as “a breakthrough in replacing plastic with fully recyclable kraft paper,” highlighting the company’s progress in reducing environmental impact.
The recognition strengthens Robopac’s position as an international leader in sustainability and underscores the company’s commitment to developing technologies that combine efficiency, safety, and environmental responsibility.
Technoplat PW offers secure, sustainable pallet wrapping using kraft paper, ensuring product protection during storage and transport, along with pallet stabilisation of up to 35 pallets per hour in compliance with EUMOS standards. The system also incorporates enhanced operator safety features, including a multi-sensor safety mat, and integrates R-Connect for performance monitoring, predictive maintenance and remote software updates. In addition, the machine uses patented Cube Technology to optimise wrapping based on load characteristics, reducing material use while ensuring transport safety.
Following the award, Aetna Group has been invited to serve as a Green World Ambassador and will present its project in The Green Book, an international reference on environmental best practices. The company will also represent Italy at the Green World Environment Awards, organised by The Green Organisation, an independent non-profit dedicated to promoting environmental excellence.
