United States: Anheuser-Busch announces investment in Virginia brewery

The Anheuser-Busch company announced an investment of 6 million Euro in its Williamsburg (Virginia) brewery. According to the press release, in the last 5 years, Anheuser-Busch has invested almost 1.8 billion Euro in its facilities across the country to maintain jobs and boost production.

To date, in Virginia, Anheuser-Busch invested approximately 800 million Euro, making the brewery a key contributor to the state's economy. Anheuser-Busch operates more than 120 facilities across the country and, with its distributors, employs 65,000 workers.

“Investing in the communities where our people live and work is part of who we are,” said Brendan Whitworth, CEO of Anheuser-Busch.

The new €6 million investment in the Williamsburg brewery will go toward capital infrastructure projects, including refurbishing equipment and additional improvements that drive efficiency throughout the facility. Investments will also be made to improve the brewery’s production and warehouse capacity.
