The investment in the São Luís factory targets an increase in the production capacity of premium beers, projected to commence operations in the first half of 2025. Meanwhile, the Camaçari unit expects a production capacity increase of 100 thousand hectoliters. This facility supplies 11 states and produces various brands, including Guaraná Antártida, Pepsi, Sukita, Soda, as well as Antártida, Original, Brahma, Brahma Duplo Malte, Skol, Skol Puro Malte, and Bohemia beers.
"We have deep faith in Brazil and the Northeast, where our presence in Bahia has a longstanding history. Our ongoing investments aim to fuel growth in the region," stated Jean Jereissati, CEO of Ambev.
These new projects supplement three others announced earlier in the year, amounting to a total investment of €75 million in 2023. Notable among these investments are the construction of the Aquiraz factory to bolster the production capacity of the Premium line and the expansion of Budweiser Zero manufacturing in Teresina.
