Brazil: Coca-Cola Femsa strengthens its presence in the country with a new investment

Coca-Cola Femsa confirmed a €100 million investment to expand its factory in Mogi das Cruzes, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The project includes the construction of two new soft drink production lines, which will be completed between October and December, with operations scheduled to begin in January 2026.

Coca-Cola Femsa's Supply Chain Director, Mario Cesar Schafaschek, stated: “The Mogi plant plays a strategic role not only for our company but also within the Coca-Cola System in Brazil. We are very optimistic about the arrival of the new soft drink lines, equipped with high-level technology.” The executive emphasized that this investment reinforces the company's commitment to sustainable development in the region.

According to the 2024 annual report, Coca-Cola Femsa will install nine new production lines in Latin America. Four of these okaawill be located in Brazil (including Mogi das Cruzes), one in Mexico, two in Guatemala, and one in Costa Rica.

The company currently operates 11 plants and 49 distribution centers in Brazil, consolidating its presence as one of the most important players in the country's beverage sector.
