Valerio Soli, CEO of the Marchesini Group, has been confirmed as Chairman of the Board and President of Ipack Ima. Simone Castelli will continue to serve as Board Member and Chief Executive Officer.
The Board also includes Gian Paolo Crasta, General Director of ACIMAC and UCIMA, Simona Greco, Hosted Exhibitions Director at Fiera Milano, and Massimo De Tullio, Group Chief Financial Officer of Fiera Milano, all of whom were members of the previous Board. New appointments representing UCIMA are Maurizio Bertocco, CEO of ILPRA, and Alberto Cirio, General Director of AROL.
The composition of the Board reflects the complementary expertise of Ipack Ima’s shareholders, combining industrial know-how and exhibition management experience. This dual foundation continues to support the company’s growth and development strategy.
Commenting on the renewal, Chairman Valerio Soli thanked the shareholders for their confidence and highlighted the strength of the partnership between UCIMA and Fiera Milano. He also acknowledged the contribution of outgoing Board members Antonella Candiotto and Luciano Sottile, noting that collaboration with Sottile will continue in his new role as Chairman of the Ipack Ima Scientific and Technical Committee.
The Board renewal comes as Ipack Ima advances key projects within its exhibition portfolio, including the launch of Bevertech, scheduled at Fiera Milano from 17 to 20 November 2026, and preparations for the concurrent staging of IPACK-IMA and Pharmintech from 29 May to 1 June 2028.
