Colombia: Bavaria Brewery Renews Its Image and Reinforces Its Long-Term Commitment

“We are happy to announce this update to the country in a key year for Bavaria, in which we are advancing strategic projects such as the Cervecería del Atlántico (Atlantic Brewery), one of the largest private investments the country has seen in recent years,” stated Sergio Rincón, president of Bavaria, in the press release.

The company modernized its image and also reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, employment, and the progress of Colombia. With this new identity, we are projecting Bavaria toward a more competitive and sustainable future.

The new image comes at a time of strategic decisions that are shaping the company's direction, such as the final stage of construction of its facility located in the municipality of Palmar de Varela.

Over the past four years, Bavaria has accelerated its brand portfolio, launching more than 50 new products, including non-alcoholic options like Aguila 0.0 and Corona Cero beers, as well as flavored beers like Redd’s Rosé. It is also the home of Aguila, Poker, Aguila Light, Pony Malta, and Club Colombia, the country's most valuable brands according to Brandvalorum.

The brewery, founded in Bogotá in 1889, directly employs more than 4,000 people nationwide through eight breweries, two malt houses, a bottle cap factory, a label factory, and more than 55 distribution centers.
