Successful drinktec 2025

For five days, Munich once again became the center of the international beverage and liquid food industry: the world’s leading trade fair drinktec concluded 2025 with an impressive total of 58,281 visitors. From September 15 to 19, Munich served as the hub for exchange, innovation, and future-oriented projects in the industry. Visitors from 164 countries gathered inspiration for their future product concepts, business strategies, and technical solutions. With 70 percent of visitors coming from international markets, drinktec 2025 once again lived up to its status as the world’s leading trade fair.

With excellent ratings from visitors, the trade fair has once again demonstrated its position as the global benchmark. About 30 percent of visitors came from Germany, around 40 percent from Europe, and another 30 percent from other regions worldwide.

Decision-makers from the top 20 global beverage companies were also present at this edition of drinktec. These major market players once again used the fair as an opportunity to meet their information needs regarding the future of beverage and liquid food production with large delegations. At the same time, drinktec continues to serve as a crucial platform for numerous mid-sized manufacturers worldwide in making their investment decisions. Thus, drinktec 2025 reflected the full spectrum of users on the visitor side.

A total of 1,117 exhibitors from 68 countries showcased their solutions on 74,000 m² of net exhibition space, covering the entire value chain of beverage and liquid food production. Particular focus was placed on modernization projects, process optimization and digitalization tasks, as well as strategies for developing new beverage concepts based on novel ingredients, product formulations, and production methods. For many exhibitors, drinktec again served as a stage to present new product concepts. With the Innovation Guide, visitors were able to locate target addresses for product innovation within the halls. The Innovation Guide will be available online at drinktec.com from early October after the fair.

Interest in future topics of the beverage industry has never been higher. The Liquidrome, with its program of presentations and discussions, provided the perfect platform for expert exchange. It was very well attended and undoubtedly a highlight of the fair,” emphasizes Richard Clemens, Managing Director of the VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association, which supports the positioning of drinktec as an organizational sponsor.

“This year’s drinktec has impressively confirmed that the world of beverage and liquid food production is perfectly positioned on this platform in Munich. Exhibitor and visitor numbers reflect the need for high-level exchange with deep insights into technology and engineering. With its innovations and live demonstrations, drinktec has once again convinced many visitors this year,” summarizes Markus Kosak, Executive Director of drinktec.
“We look forward to the next drinktec from September 11 to 15, 2028!”
