Jordan takes on the role after three years with Teeling, having started as a brand ambassador in Miami before moving into a regional position covering the Northeast, based in New York. In his new role, he will oversee all of North America, supported by a team of six regional brand ambassadors across the US, as he works to raise the brand's profile and advance the Irish whiskey category more broadly.
"I'm thrilled to see this role created. [It is] the result of so many people's work on this brand over the years," Jordan said. "To be able to work closely with our incredible ambassador and sales teams across the country is an absolute privilege, and I know our best days are ahead of us."
Jordan has spent the past decade in Irish whiskey advocacy roles across the US, working in key markets including Philadelphia, Nashville, Los Angeles, New Orleans and Miami.
Teeling trade advocacy manager Douglas Graham-Leigh welcomed the appointment, saying the company is "looking forward to Gareth bringing his deep experience, excellence in execution and drive to continuing the growth and strength of Teeling Irish Whiskey."
The appointment comes after Bacardi took sole ownership of the Dublin-based distillery in June 2026. Last week, Teeling also entered the ready-to-drink canned cocktail market with the launch of Phoenix Twist.
