The second edition of Vinitaly USA officially opened at Navy Pier in Chicago, an event that reaffirms the strong collaboration between the two countries. The fair brings together more than 2,250 exhibitors and 2,000 wine brands.

Organized by Veronafiere-Vinitaly in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency, Fiere Italiane, and the Italian-American Chamber of Commerce, the fair presents a comprehensive overview of the best Italian wineries.

According to data from the Italian Trade Agency, the value of Italian wine exports reached €8.1 billion in 2024, up 5.5 % from 2023, with the United States remaining the main destination market with approximately €1.9 billion, confirming a growth of 10.2%.

In the first seven months of 2025, exports to the United States remained stable at € 1.1 billion, despite signs of slowing sales volumes due to tariffs and price pressures.
