Bolivia: Beer Imports in Bolivia Exceed €40 Million

According to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INE), beer imports in Bolivia have registered sustained growth over the last decade, reaching a value of €42 million in 2024.

This increase confirms a trend of expansion in the consumption of international brands such as Amstel, Budweiser, Paulaner, Brahma, and Corona. According to the report, Brazil consolidated its position as the main supplier country with 90% of the total imported volume, followed by Mexico (6%) and Argentina (4%). The Bolivian region that concentrates the largest volume of imported beer is Santa Cruz, which registered purchases of approximately €39 million. This trend is influenced by factors such as higher urban population density, commercial activity, and a market oriented towards mass gastronomy and entertainment.
