The shipment to Florida included 7,300 cases of grape juice, Brut sparkling wine, and red wine.
This is the second order placed with the same importer in a year. In November 2024, the winery shipped 13,500 bottles to the United States, primarily sparkling wines, representing the largest volume ever sent to that country. That shipment also included restocks of Garibaldi Brut Rosé Pinot Noir sparkling wine and Garibaldi Tannat dry red wine.
However, the new shipment included grape juice in 300 ml bottles, opening the possibility of exploring a new market segment. In fact, the 7,300 bottles in this shipment add to the more than 20,000 sent for export in the first half of this year. The main buyers were Armenia and Chile, which accounted for more than 50% of the exported volume.
Canada was another destination for the grape juice, and Sweden is another country with which the Rio Grande do Sul winery hopes to establish a collaboration in the coming months.
