Founded in Dunedin in 1876, the brewery has grown from a regional producer into the country’s leading beer brand and remains operational at its original site.
To commemorate the milestone, Speight’s has launched a series of anniversary initiatives, including a special commemorative can and other limited-edition products. Celebrations will also take place at the brewery in Dunedin.
The company described the anniversary as an opportunity to recognize the brand’s history, its contribution to New Zealand’s brewing industry, and its continued development for future generations of consumers.
