Mexico: Diageo Recognized in the Merco ESG 2026 Ranking

Diageo Mexico was recognized in the Merco ESG 2026 ranking, placing 54th and climbing 17 places.

This result consolidates the company's presence among those that stand out for their responsible management and contribution to sustainable development in the country.

Diageo Mexico's inclusion in this ranking reflects the momentum of its global "Spirit of Progress" plan, which guides its operations under three priority pillars: promoting responsible consumption, fostering inclusion, and accelerating the responsible management of natural resources.

In Mexico, Diageo's ESG strategy translates into concrete initiatives such as water conservation and reforestation programs in the Jalisco region through its Tequila Don Julio company, which focuses on actions aimed at reducing its carbon footprint and improving energy efficiency in its operations. Diageo also organizes inclusion and talent development programs that strengthen its supply chain, and implements responsible consumption education initiatives under its "Positive Drinking" campaign.
