Mexico: Mexican Beer Sales Fall in the United States

According to financial reports from major brewing companies, Mexican beer sales in the United States have fallen by as much as 8.7%. The causes are related to economic factors, tariffs, and changes in consumption habits.

Constellation Brands, responsible for brands such as Modelo and Corona, anticipated a decrease of between 2% and 4% in sales, after reporting a 7% drop in net income and an 8.7% reduction in exports. Experts pointed out that per capita beer consumption in the United States continues its downward trend, in addition to facing competition from ready-to-drink beverages and alternative products. Other companies such as Heineken and Molson Coors also reported drops in revenue and increases in operating costs, which is putting pressure on margins and modifying the sector's commercial strategies.
