Mexico: Tequila Industry Creates New Technology Center to Strengthen the Industry

The Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT) announced that in 2026 it will launch the Global Intelligence and Innovation Center for the Tequila Industry, a platform that will integrate analysis, technology, intellectual property, and international cooperation with the goal of strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of the tequila agro-industry.

The project is based on three fundamental pillars: the first is the creation of a creative marketing center, conceived as a hub for analysis, innovation, and strategy. This center will support decision-making through the use of tools such as artificial intelligence, with the goal of anticipating risks, identifying opportunities, and enhancing the competitiveness of the production chain.

The second component will be a technology and innovation support center, specializing in the tequila agro-industry and backed by the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property.
