“Extending our partnership by ten years is a strong signal of mutual trust and our shared long-term perspective on market development in Argentina,” says Henk Wielinga, Director License at the Haus Cramer Group. As part of the partnership, Warsteiner Pilsener is brewed and bottled according to German quality standards at CCU’s brewery in Luján, located around 75 kilometers west of Buenos Aires. Distribution takes place nationwide via retail channels in bottles and cans, as well as in the on-trade as draught beer.
With the contract extension, several growth initiatives are planned for Warsteiner. In 2026, Warsteiner NaturRadler Lemon will be introduced to the Argentine market, and the nationwide campaign linked to the Parookaville music festival will also be continued. From a brand perspective, Argentina represents an important pillar of Warsteiner’s international strategy, the statement continues.
Warsteiner is also a valuable addition to CCU Argentina’s own portfolio. Julio Freyre, Managing Director of CCU Argentina, emphasizes: “Warsteiner is an excellent fit for our premium portfolio and stands for quality, heritage, and international appeal. The long-term agreement enables us to continue developing and strengthening the brand sustainably in the Argentine market.”
