Poland: Kersia Acquires Food & Beverage Business of Polish Company Radex

Kersia has announced the acquisition of the Food & Beverage business of the Polish company Radex.

The acquired activities generated estimated revenues of €9.5 million in the 2024 financial year. The transaction supports Kersia’s growth strategy and strengthens its presence in Eastern Europe, particularly in the Polish food hygiene market and the meat processing segment. Kersia reported group revenues of €695 million in 2024.

Founded in 1989, Radex is a family-owned company specialising in hygiene solutions for the food industry. The Food & Beverage business comprises cleaning and disinfection activities supported by a dedicated sales team of 14 employees and serves approximately 750 customers.

Radex’s Food & Beverage portfolio includes around 220 products, with an average production volume of approximately 700 tonnes per month. The business has established a strong position in the Polish market, especially in the meat industry. According to Kersia, the acquisition offers a strong strategic fit in terms of product range, customer base and technical expertise. It is expected to support Kersia’s further development in Eastern Europe and across key food industry segments such as meat processing, dairy and breweries.

During the transition period, Radex will support Kersia Poland to ensure operational continuity. In the longer term, Kersia plans to expand cooperation with Radex, particularly in equipment and installation activities in Eastern Europe and other international markets.

Sébastien Bossard, CEO of Kersia, stated that the acquisition is based on an established relationship of trust and is intended to support continued collaboration and growth, with a focus on maintaining stable relationships with partners and customers throughout the transition.

Tomasz Nagay, General Partner of Radex, explained that the decision followed a long-term assessment of the company’s future development and the search for a partner to support continued growth. He noted that Radex will retain its identity while working with Kersia on joint activities, including in global markets for technical equipment.
