A study presented at BWW shows that 94% of wine consumption in Spain occurs in bars and restaurants, with 76% of consumers rating Spanish wine as good or very good quality. The findings underline the importance of Denominations of Origin and the central role of the hospitality sector in influencing wine choices.
BWW is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, ICEX Spain Export and Investment, the Spanish Wine Federation, the Spanish Conference of Wine Regulatory Councils, the Spanish Interprofessional Wine Organization, and financial partner Cajamar.
