United States: Döhler Expands Flavor Production and Innovation Capabilities in Georgia

Döhler has significantly expanded its flavor production and innovation capabilities at its Cartersville, Georgia site, strengthening its ability to develop natural, clean-label solutions for the food, beverage and nutrition industries.

A key element of the investment is the expansion of hydroethanolic extraction technology for botanicals, enabling the company to increase production of natural extracts and support growing demand for functional ingredient systems. Döhler has also enhanced its reaction chemistry platform, adding capabilities for sweet reaction flavors, pyrazines and natural flavor development.

The upgrades further increase liquid flavor production capacity and allow for larger batch sizes, improving flexibility and responsiveness to customer requirements. According to the company, the expanded capabilities will accelerate the development and commercialization of next-generation flavor systems and customized botanical extracts.

The investment forms part of Döhler’s broader strategy to strengthen its integrated North American network, which also includes beverage processing operations in New Jersey and recently added product development and stability-testing capabilities.

“With these enhancements, we are empowering our customers to create differentiated products that meet the growing demand for natural, functional and great-tasting solutions,” said Paul Graham, President of Döhler Americas.
